Currently, I (we) are on a mission to get a man by the name of Cedric L. Dean released from prison come his court date at the end of this year 2008.  This intelligent and sincere black writer / author was sentenced to life in prison for being a low level crack dealer.  Because Mr. Dean refused to give names to all those who were involved, the UNFAIR AND JUDGEMENTAL GOVERNMENT we have in today's society, sentenced him to LIFE in prison and his then best friend, (who was also involved) Marcus Massey, received 15 years and is now a free man, yet Cedric is doing LIFE!

Mr. Dean utilizing his talents, has written ( 9 ) books to date and is currently (along with my help as his publicist), are close to publishing the 2nd book entitled: "How To Stop Your Children From Going To Prison."  We are trying to save misguided children from the streets and teach them that it's a mistake not to learn from Cedric's mistakes.  Please read the statistics below:

a) 4,302 children are arrested daily.

b) Black males born in 2001 have a 1 in 3 chance of being arrested; while black girls have a 1 in 17 chance. (Source: Children’s Defense Fund)

c) 1 in 3 black males in their 20’s is under correctional supervision or control.

d) At midyear 2006, about 579,000 black males were in a State or Federal prison and only 48,000 black males earned a Bachelor’s Degree that year. 

e) The U.S. prison population has risen from 300,000 in the 1970’s to 2.2 million today. 

f) 1 out of every 100 Americans is under the control of the prison system. 

I (we) are looking for collaborative endorsements with major companies such as "Purpose Over Pain," Children's Defense Fund (CDF), Wal-Mart, Target, Tower Record & Books," etc.   With your help, we're looking to placve this book into the hands of parents who are needing and wanting help with their children.  Together, we can STOP Youth Violence!!

100% OF ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS BOOK WILL GO TO CHARITIES!!  (i.e. Boys and Girls Club).

Personal Statement

One of my goals is to support / help Mr. Dean with the writings / publishings of his books for court showing purposes. 

We (myself, family and close friends) pray everyday for his safe release at the coming end of this year.  We all know that God is good and that Cedric will be coming home!
