I live in Chicago with my husband and cat.
I love to box, eat and write about yogurt, and explore and participate in the Web.
I watch too much Law & Order. I love to watch and read mysteries. P.D. James is my favorite author right now.
During the day, I'm the communications coordinator for the Illinois Arts Alliance. I do advocacy, communications, and technology work for them, and I love it. One day I hope to work full-time helping nonprofits integrate technology and social media into their campaigns and activities.

I earned a BA in history from the University of California at Berkeley, where I graduated with honors in 2003.
I went to Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland from 1996 to 2000.
Before that, Tilden Middle School and Ashuburten Elementary.
Place(s) Worked
Currently, I work with the Illinois Arts Alliance as their communications coordinator. I started in January of 2008.
Prior to IAA, I lived and worked in Washington, DC, first as the executive director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy from 2004 to 2006 and then as a self-employed consultant with Reform Networks.
