About Carlos Encalada

CitizenPowered.org member since Thu 01-17-2008

I am a 25 year young non-professional, progressive man who is interested in cutting through the noise and connecting with real people. I graduated with a Computer Science degree and realized that wasn't for me. Went to Peace Corps for 2 years, grew my hair long, and came back. Now I want to be a social worker/therapist using meditation and Buddhist concepts as a guide. Naropa might be in my future. Right now I am an editor for a math textbook project at University of Chicago. In a year, who knows where I will be? For now though, I would like to connect with the community of people around me.

Hi Carlos, Thanks for all your hard work getting this (BPF presence) set up. It's a great site, and hopefully it will generate some more interest in BPF and its events. There are so many interesting things to explore, it makes me wish I had more time. :)
