Mission Statement Edit
The INCREASE the PEACE Campaign officially began on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 1257 W. 111th Street in Chicago, Illinois. The INCREASE the PEACE Campaign is designed to RAISE MONEY for existing, positive, effective youth programs and to RAISE AWARENESS about the senseless violence that is taking place in our cities. It is our belief that when youth are active and involved in these programs, they will be safer and fewer will be idle, allowing for negative things to happen.

Hi Everyone!Today Kids Off The Block released it's first ever video in response to the senseless violence among our youth. While we pray and provide support to our teens, we believe there is much more that needs to be done. There is not ONE SOLUTION, BUT MANY SOLUTIONS! This video touches on some of the growing problems and hopes to shed some light on the "real" world in our neighborhoods.

There is a small group of Chicagoans who are having a disproportionate effect on the primary elections. They've been on the campaign trail, they've stumped for their candidate, in some cases raised money for them, and have flipped votes no one would expect them to flip. They've already had more impact on this election than most of us who consider ourselves politically engaged.
And they're not even old enough to vote.
