Mission Statement  

Protect Our Parks was started to stop the privatization of Lincoln Park when the Chicago Park District made a secret sweetheart deal with the Latin School to build a private artificial turf soccer field in the heart of Lincoln Park. We are a grassroots group of neighbors who are fighting for open, transparent and repsonsible government and we oppose private deals that trade away public parks and public assets to private organizations for their own benefit.
